The Spirit R is known as the ultimate RX-7, as it was the last of the RX-7 and they threw everything they could at it, only 1,500 of these were produced with about 1,000 being Type A. The Type A is the lightest RX-7 with lightweight Carbon Fiber Recaro seats and no rear seats, also came with the largest brakes and tires! And each got a special custom Spirit R plate with its production #, this one is 1299 of 1500! RX-7s have become a legend due to their high revving twin turbo rotary engine, excellent balance and handling.
